Social Media Divide

After reading all the articles I feel like I am a little of every part. I do not give out my email to sales people when they ask after a purchase mostly because I hate my email inbox being filled with junk mail.  However, at the same time my instagram is not private. I have a facebook but i hardly ever post anything on it because I mostly use it to view what other people are posting. I guess that I wouldn't have to worry about posting embarrassing photos or comments because I don't post them.  I should be more concerned about my privacy and think about wifi when looking on the internet but I also feel like if someone wanted to hack my information that they would be able to do it. I do trust people more then I should.

Syria

I will be the first to admit that i didn't know much about what is going on in Syria. I prepared for the speech by listening to AM talk radio during work many people called into the talk show expressing their feelings about how they feel. It seemed like only extremist called in. After watching his speech and looking at tweeter i feel like most the people were like the people calling into the talk show only one sided. i would like to view more people that are more neutral. what i didn't like on tweeter is people talking about other topics of conflict.

Some things i thought was interesting from his speech is the comments from president Obama about the effects of the photos of the victims posted on social media. After i watched, read, and listened about this topic my not one way or the other on how i feel about war in Syria.
