Established Personas

Shelly is 45 years old and is a stay at home mother of five, two boys and three girls.  Her husband is an orthodontist and owns his own practice which allows Shelly to focus on their children and taking care of their home.  Her hobbies are fashion, crafting, and spending time with her family.  She uses social media to keep in contact with her old friends from high school and college and to check up on her five children.


Ruth is 65 years old and she and her husband have just retired from their careers and purchased a new home in St. George, Utah.  They have worked hard in their careers as educational professors and have saved to build their dream home which they designed to be a vacation spot for their children and grandchildren to come and visit.  Ruth and her husband are avid golfers and are members at the local country club.  Ruth likes to look at Facebook a few times a day at pictures of her 15 grandchildren spread out through Utah, California, and Idaho.  She doesn't see some of them often so the pictures are the best she can get sometimes.


Mike and Linda are 32 and 31 and live in Mesquite, Nevada.  They recently have experienced success in their new marketing business.  They are looking to upgrade their small home to a much bigger home with their new success and growing family.  Both Mike and Linda are working together and are extremely busy balancing their time between work and family.  When they find time in their schedule they enjoy the outdoors such as, camping, hiking, fishing, and all physical sports.  However, the most important thing to them is family and religion.  They use Facebook to see what their high school friends are up to because they are too busy to socialize with them.
